Hello and welcome to the website of the South Holland Singers. We are a medium sized, enthusiastic SATB choir with about eighty members, based in Spalding, Lincolnshire. We enjoy a varied repertoire under the direction of Musical Director, Robin Carter and Accompanist Megan King. We sing, by invitation, at a number of local venues in the area, including the Parish Church of St Mary and St Nicolas and St John the Baptist Spalding. We have also sung at the South Holland Centre and Gedney and Kirton Parish churches at various times.

Our Chairman, Jenny Symonds writes: "I would like to welcome you to the new season of South Holland Singers. We enjoyed a good season of singing last year, the highlight being our uplifting concert of “Carmina Burana”, which we performed in Spalding Parish Church and which some of us were lucky enough to sing in Speyer with our friends from the Mozartchor."
Rehearsals begin on Thursday 9th September 2010 at 7.30pm. Registration will take place on Thursday 16th September 2010 at 7pm. Subscriptions remain the same as last year at £50 each. If anyone is interested in buying their own copy of Mozart’s “Requiem”, could they please let Robin, Hilary or Jacqueline know. (Email via mailform here).

We would like to thank our Patrons for their generous support of our Concerts in the past. Our Patrons will be known as the Friends of the South Holland Singers from September 2010.
