Christmas Concert 2010

The South Holland Singers Christmas Concert will take place at St. John's Church, Hawthorn Bank, Spalding on Saturday, 11th December 2010 at 7.30pm.

Featuring the South Holland Singers with the St. John's Junior Choir, there will be a seasonal mix of Carols old and new, congregational items, Piano solo items from our accompanist, Megan King, making for another memorable Christmas celebration.

Easter (Spring) Concert 2011

We present:

Mozart's Requiem Mass in D minor (K. 626) 

Wikipedia describes it thus: "It was composed in Vienna in 1791, during the last year of the composer's life. The Requiem was Mozart's last composition and is one of his most popular and respected works." A full Wikipedia article can be read here.

South Holland Singers Easter Concert will take place at the Parish Church of St. Mary and St. Nicolas, The Vista, Spalding on Saturday, 16th April 2011 at 7.30pm.

Featuring the South Holland Singers with the Lincolnshire Chamber Orchestra (Leader: Malcolm Goodman), and Soloists Soprano - Glenys Page, Tenor - Leslie Crowson and Baritone - Robert-John Edwards. Our Mezzo-soprano will be announced later. A grand work which should make for another memorable Concert.
