Sing Hallelujah! Open Rehearsal held on 14th September 2017

Unfortunately, you’ve missed the chance to sing the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah on the 14th September. Shame, because we spent an enjoyable evening rehearsing three of the most well-known Choruses from Messiah.

Following the South Holland Singers successful concert of Mendelssohn’s Elijah in May, the choir will be performing Handel’s Messiah in Spalding, together with the Lincolnshire Chamber Orchestra and soloists, on 9th December 2017 in celebration of our 70th anniversary.

South Holland Singers are a very friendly, non-audition choir of 70 male and female voices. We would be delighted to welcome anyone of any age who would like to join us for a rehearsal on a Thursday evening to “have a go” at singing some of the wonderful choruses. Some experience is desirable, but a desire to sing with a big choir is most important!

We will be rehearsing each Thursday, 19:30-21:30 at St. Paul’s Primary School, Queens Road, Spalding, PE11 2JQ.
